Swap a Donut for a Warm Meal! 🍩
Fat Thursday, the sweetest day in Poland, falls at the end of February this year. But there’s no reason not to start talking about it now — especially about how much good your one VIRTUAL DONUT can do!
For several years, we’ve been swapping virtual donuts for warm meals for children and youth in community centers. Last year, we supported the needs of 9 facilities, providing almost 8 000 meals for 321 children!
1 donut => 15 PLN (£3/€3,5) => a meal for one child
For just fifteen zlotys, you can sponsor a warm meal for a child from the community center. Pancakes, dumplings, a meat patty with potatoes, or tomato soup… It’s such a small amount, yet it means so much! You decide how many meals to sponsor. One child? Two? Or perhaps an entire community center with 20 children? 💖

Last year, a manager of a community center we supported with a grant for warm meals, thanked us with tears in her eyes. She spoke about the immense need for sustenance. According to the Poverty Watch 2024 report, the number of children living in extreme poverty has increased by 125,000 compared to the previous year. This means they are at risk of hunger.*
Helping is SWEET!
Is eating a donut on Fat Thursday bad? OF COURSE NOT! We’ll surely treat ourselves to this traditional delight too. This campaign is about also supporting children who need nutritious meals to grow and develop properly. Your small gesture helps them grow up healthy!
